Service Description

Ages: 4-7 Class Description: Kids will design and create their own shadow puppets using cardstock, craft sticks, and light sources to bring characters to life. This activity encourages imagination, storytelling, and dramatic play while helping Littles explore light and shadow. We’ll start with a short story or puppet-show inspiration to spark ideas. Then children can cut out shapes of animals, people, or magical creatures and use a flashlight or a projected light to make them dance across the wall. They’ll experiment with how shadows change when puppets move closer or farther from the light. After creating their cast of characters, Littles can perform mini shows for friends or family, sharing the stories they invent along the way.
