Homeschool Parent Hub

High School Transcripts and College Planning

Christ the Rock Lutheran Church

Preparing for high school and what comes after can feel overwhelming, especially when transcripts, credits, and college expectations enter the conversation. This Homeschool Parent Hub gathering is a round table discussion, not a class, created to give parents space to talk through the teen years together. We’ll share experiences, questions, and ideas around high school planning, documenting learning, transcripts, and preparing for college or other post high school paths. Rather than a lecture, this is a conversation where parents can learn from one another, compare approaches, and gain clarity through discussion. Whether you are just starting to think about the teen years or are already navigating high school level work, this session offers a supportive environment to reflect, ask questions, and gather insight without pressure to have everything decided. ──────────────────────────── Parent Hub is a welcoming space for homeschool parents to connect, share, and feel supported over coffee or tea. These gatherings are designed to create meaningful conversation around homeschooling life, including the challenges, questions, and wins that come with it. Rather than a lecture or workshop, Parent Hub is discussion based and community focused. Topics may include homeschooling rhythms, curriculum choices, social dynamics, burnout, balance, and navigating different seasons of learning. Conversation is guided but flexible, allowing space for real experiences, thoughtful reflection, and shared problem solving. Participation is always optional. Parents are welcome to listen quietly, join the discussion, or contribute in whatever way feels comfortable. The goal is to build genuine connections and a supportive network of parents who can encourage one another beyond the meeting itself. Parent Hub is offered on a pay what you can basis so everyone feels welcome. We are a nonprofit group, and any contributions help support our community and make gatherings like this possible. Suggested contribution options • $5 helps cover basic supplies • $10 supports space rental and materials • $15 supports future activities and anything beyond the costs goes directly to the host of the class or club as a thank you for planning and running the session Any amount, including $0 is welcome Choose the amount that works best for your family. Your presence is what matters most. Due to system limitations, please select the $1 option and choose pay in person to bypass the online fee.
